I'm often asked what foods I feed Noah and how he gets such gorgeous skin. I use only certified organic skincare products - my favourite combination for him at the moment is the Mukti Pink Grapefruit Body Wash followed by Organic Spa's Body Butter or Body Lotion; and a diet rich in organic produce and breastmilk. I prepare his food daily so it maintains the highest nutritional content and make sure I add variety so he doesn't become a fussy eater and also to give him a balanced nutritional intake. I must say however he is a bit of a banana fan so bananas do feature frequently in his meals. Bananas are rich in calcium, dietary fibre, magnesium, potassium, vitamins A, B, C and folate. I also ensure I choose produce that is in season to optimise nutrient and antioxidant content. Our vege patch is a good way of achieving this and it's just lovely to go out and select the produce for your meal straight from the garden! You can't get any fresher than that! Pears are especially lovely at the moment and so I've been poaching them with a cupful of mixed organic berries, then allowing them to cool before roughly blending them and serving with sheep's milk yoghurt. It is just amazing and packed with antioxidants, calcium and B12. Did you know sheep's milk yoghurt has approximately 45% more protein than cow's milk yoghurt and a higher nutrient profile overall with 50% more iron and 38% more calcium? Not being a yoghurt fan myself, mixed with the berry and pear combination I find I'm even getting my yoghurt hit and loving it! Have a fantastic week and try something new - even some sheep's yoghurt .... you might be pleasantly surprised - I know I was!

I know it has been a long while since updating the website and I do apologise profusely however I have been otherwise occupied with my little bundle of joy, Noah, and running the clinic. Noah comes into clinic with me three days a week and although this may not be everyone's cup of tea the majority of people are loving it! I am also very fortunate to have Grace helping out. Grace is our Office Manager, Skincare and Makeup expert and helps out with Noah when she can.
Since the last update we've hosted several Organic Spa Facial Days which have been an absolute hit! Stay tuned for the next set of dates which will be coming after the Sydney Beauty Expo and the launch of their "new look".

Well, this year certainly has flown! We've settled nicely into our new home and have been blessed with many new clients as well as the ongoing support of our regular clients. Thank you for your support this year and we look forward to helping facilitate your path to wellness in the new year.

We are thrilled to now have Alexami Mineral Cosmetics in the clinic. Since receiving our stock on Friday we've been overwhelmed by the response. The company is Australian owned and made, based on the Gold Coast and the products are just gorgeous! It is easier to apply and the sizes of the containers mean the products will last you longer without costing the earth. Foundations are a massive 20g and retail for $89.95 with refills available for $76.95. Eye shadows are 6g and retail for $24.95. There are trios of eyeshadows available as well in matte effects which are often more suitable for the corporate woman. My personal favourite is the Mineral Mascara as it is non-clumping and I don't end up with "pander eyes" by the end of the day! But I will leave you to decide as to what your favourite products are. Over the coming months we'll be holding a launch afternoon where Alenka the founder of Alexami will be at Red Suva teaching us about the best ways to apply the makeup and also doing make-overs. Well a very belated Happy New Year to all. Our new clinic in Gordon Park is going extremely well. Most of you have made the transition to the new premises and we have met many new faces as well. Since the move we have made many changes in modalities but also products. Our latest practitioner addition is Heidi Vit. Heidi currently has Cert IV in Massage Therapy and is working towards her Diploma in Remedial Massage. She has a background in dance with a Bachelor in Fine arts. As a professional dancer, Heidi realised her love for massage to aid her aching muscles. She believes massage is a great stress reliever and loves to make her clients feel calm and revitalised after a treatment. Her massage technique and pressure vary according to individual requirements. Heidi intends to continue her studies in massage so hopefully we can soon offer you a greater selection for you to choose from! She is available for appointments every Wednesday and Thursday with every 3rd Saturday of the month.
We are also enjoying the Organic Spa range of Salon Only Beauty Products. At Organic Spa their belief is to provide luxury through nature and their products are purely exquisite. Mukti has also added a few new products to her range. My particular favourite is the new Buzz Off Balm for not only repelling nasty mosquitoes but also for assisting in healing existing bites and relieving itching. She has also launched a new body bronzer which is available for limited time only.

I have just returned from The International Congress of Natural Medicine held every two years on the Gold Coast and although it was a tiring three days, it was absolutely amazing. The main topic of the congress was inflammation and gluten sensitivity, so, once I've had a chance to dive back into the research I will start posting articles on these topics.
Also, the clinic is taking on a new path as of the beginning of the financial year. The clinic will no-longer be offering Acupuncture, however from a pain management and inflammation perspective, microcurrent will be equally effective. Please do not hesitate to ask me questions in relation to the microcurrent and how it can help you. Although marketed specifically for its ability to dampen inflammation in body, I have had great success in treating hormonal imbalances, skin conditions, immune deficiency and prolonged stress to name a few. The treatment is non-invasive which may be more appealing to those of you who are not fans of needles!

Hi again! Well as usual Christine and I have been super busy. We are currently working on a series of workshops with Suzie from Bobby Brown hair and fashion aimed at teaching people how to look good both inside and out. As yet we haven't finalised any dates but I promise to update you with the latest news in regards to dates and topics as soon as possible.
On to other exiciting news - we are TV stars! Camilla from B105 came to see us in February 2009 in relation to an acne problem. She's was experiencing hormonal breakouts after the birth of her son. We sat down with Camilla and worked out a treatment strategy that targeted the cause of her acne, as well as improving the appearance of her skin. We incorporated herbal and nutritional supplementaion with a series of frequency-specific microcurrent treatments to reduce inflammation and balance her hormones.
We also incorporated the Mukti Vitamin Earth Mineral Masque, an organic chemical-free masque to stimulate and heal the skin while assisting to soften and nourish the skin and promote a clear and smooth complexion.
We suggested a mineral based makeup such as Inika. This range is very healing and balancing to acne prone skin.
